Gulf Breeze Officially Ends Catawba Suit and Pays Litigants

Gulf Breeze City Council has authorized final settlement for the Catawba Beach access lawsuit. The final amount has yet to be determined, but City Manager Samantha Abell says she expects it to be in the vicinity of $280,000. Uncertainty over the amount is due to interest calculations. This will be the first and final payment to close the book on the Catawba Street access lawsuit saga. This amount does not include legal costs to the City over the years in connection with the case.
Abell also discusses the Blueways plan and the ongoing audit of the City: podcast.newsradio1620.com/post/5599/Samantha_Abell_-_City_Manager_of_Gulf_Breeze.html
