Each afternoon, Branden “opines” on the day’s most interesting news with commentary—and his own unique sense of humor.
Branden joined NewsRadio1620 in 2009, moving to Pensacola from Idaho, where he hosted the number one morning show in Twin Falls and Boise. In Twin Falls, he created the “60 Hours to Fight Hunger” and to date, the initiative has raised money to feed more than 20,000 families. He was also active in several civic and charitable organizations. In 2011, Brandon’s documentary “Living Homeless inPensacola” garnered him a First Place Documentary Award from the Florida Associated Press Broadcasters Association, and in 2012 he won a prestigious Edward R. Murrow regional award from the Radio Television News Directors Association. The award was for his special program, “ECSO 24”—produced after spending 24 hours with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department.
Branden always enjoyed the snow sports of Idaho, but now can be frequently found snorkeling off the beaches around Pensacola.

Branden,
I listen to you everyday on my way home from work. Good show. Can you tell me where to find the information on the people they released from Escambia County Jail due to the strom damage from last week. It’s for a paper we’re working on. Thanks
Hey Branden!
simply put
I’ve been a hard-working individual since about 16yrs old; where I work as an adult, is somewhat dictated by the prospective employers ‘benefits’ offered-primarily health insurance
the philosophy of a good work ethic and/or obtainig health insurance is certainly not held by all individuals; it is this type of individual that I think ‘healthcare reform’ must address
I do resent the fact that many people who don’t have health insurance or some other access to care’ utilize the ER to obtain it……………..then ‘you and I’ foot the bill
I do believe in our welfare system helping people who are not in a position to help themselves-for whatever reason; but, there are too many people who use and abuse the system-and that I also resent
thanks for letting me “vent”
