A former mid-westerner, Wendi moved to the Gulf Coast in 1993. She is a long time radio-personality, getting her start while still in college as a part-time weekend DJ for 99Q and AM930 WTAD in Quincy, Illinois. Wendi comes to News Radio 1620 after a number of successful years as Promotions Director and co-host of the Q100 morning show. Wendi and her husband, Bob, have seven children between them! Two of her own and five “bonus” kids as she calls them. In her spare time, she’s shelling or snorkeling at the beach and she is an avid fan of volleyball, playing and coaching as often as possible.
