WSRE Wine & Food Classic—Friday, Oct. 14 & Saturday, Oct. 15

6-9pm both nights at the Hilton Pensacola Beach. This year’s 28th WSRE Food and Wine Classic is a “Grand Southern Tasting” featuring guest celebrity Chef Troy Gagiardo of North Carolina who will also be signing copies of his new cookbook, Pseudo Southern: A Playful Twist on the Art of Southern Cooking.  Friday night’s event happens at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Beachside Lawn, then moves to the Hilton’s Beach Towers for the Saturday night “Cocktails ‘n’ Tasting Menu”.   Pensacola’s own ‘Celebrity Chefs’ will also be participating, including Joe Abston of Taco Mez, Dan Dunn of H20 Pensacola Beach Hilton, John Huggins from La Brisa in Gulf Breeze, Chrisoula Hulion of Chrisoula’s Cheesecake Shoppe, Corey Humble from Five Sisters Blues Café, Marji Josephs of Carmen’s Lunch Bar, Paulette Martin from Nouveau Pastries in Milton, Brandon Melton of Skopelos at World Landing, David Penniman, Classic City Catering, Chris Pichotta of V’Paul’s, Blake Rushing from Union Pubic House, John Smith of Hemingway’s Island Grill, Mike Tilton from the Jubilee Oyster Bar and Grille, Chris Tingle of McGuire’s Irish Pub, Eric Troup from Margaritaville, Steve Turner of Polonza Bistro, Josh Warner of the Grand Marlin, and Mark Williams from Jaco’s Bayfront Bar and Grill.
